The St Louis Public Schools are selling several of their properties. They held Open Houses to let photographers, potential buyers, alumni and the general public wander the halls of these magnificent and abandoned buildings. They were filthy and yet beautiful at the same time. I captured this shot out of one of the classrooms at Jackson school, and wished I'd had a classroom with this view.

Welcome and thank you for visiting my portfolio! As far back as I can remember, I've been taking pictures. From Polaroid, to Kodak Instamatic and Easyshare, to today’s iphone, I've had a camera in my hand everywhere I went. I remember the thrill every time I walked to the Fotomat hut on South Kingshighway to pick up my envelope of developed prints. (Although, I wondered how anyone could work in that little box of a building.) The anticipation of opening that envelope and seeing my pictures brought such me joy. I loved sharing them with everyone. The thrill of capturing a beautiful moment has stayed with me. When I take a great shot it makes my heart and soul happy. I've never understood people who say they don't like to have...
